Auckland(Tamaki Makau Rau) is New Zealand’s largest city, with a population of around 1.4 million.

A visit to the world-famous Waitomo limestone formations and cave systems to see the shimmering lights of thousands of tiny glow-worms is a magical subterranean experience. Hundreds of limestone caves lie beneath the craggy King Country hillside. Created by geological and volcanic activity, the caves have evolved over 30 million years.
Located 233 km south-east of Auckland, Rotorua’s spectacular geothermal wonders and reputation as a spa town are a huge drawcard for visitors. The city is sited inside the rim of a volcanic crater on the southern edge of Lake Rotorua, one of the region’s largest lakes. The local indigenous Maori are from the Te Arawa tribal confederation and they offer visitors several authentic Maori cultural experiences.
The gateway to the South Island,Wellington is New Zealand’s capital city and home to Parliament.Located on the south-western tip of the North Island, the city is framed by hillsides around a magnificent harbour. The city prides itself on its cultural and artistic facilities and events, including Te Papa Tongarewa, the National Museum of New Zealand, and nearby Wellington City Art Gallery, as well as a cutting-edge film industry that produced Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings movies.
