Tour Tips

Dress suggestions:

Casual clothing and comfortable footwear are suggested on all tours. We suggest swimming attire be packed on all overnight tours to the Bay of Islands during summer and Rotorua all year round.

Warm clothing and a shower-proof jacket should be considered all year round for Queenstown and Milford, and for the following destinations between April and October: Bay of Islands, Auckland, Waitomo and Rotorua.

Hotel Information:

Rotorua Tour 8 and 8T includes lunch and dinner on day one.

All tour prices are on a twin-share basis. Passengers travelling on their own are required to pay a single room surcharge on all overnight tours.

Book a share triple room and save $10 per adult each night, in Paihia and Rotorua only.

Meals:

All overnight tours (except for Rotorua day one) meals are by your own arrangements and are not included in the tour prices. On some day tours where lunch is included please note that Children's meals are smaller than adults.

When larger meals are requested, there will be an additional charge. This is payable to the restaurant by the parent or guardian.
Vegetarian meals may be requested at time of booking.

Bookings must be made directly with Gray Line in advance by fax or letter to secure a booking under this arrangement.
