What do children pay for the tours?

Children 5-14 years old receive 50% off the Adult pricefor day tours. Under 5 years = No Charge (if not occupying a seat).

Note: there may be a direct charge to the parents for a service. Example: Child's meal at a restaurant.

What is included in the tour costs?

Tour costs include entrance fees and meals where indicated. Morning and afternoon teas are extra, except for Tour 7R and Tour 25 where morning tea and late afternoon light snack are included.

Guided tours through most places of interest.

What currency are your prices quoted in?

All costs quoted are in NZ dollars and include Goods and Services Tax of 12.5%

Is commentary provided on your tours?

English commentary is provided by your driver/guide on points of interest en-route. Multilingual taped commentaries (German, Spanish, Japanese, Mandarin) available on selected tours.

At times, when large numbers of passengers are travelling the extra coach provided for the tour may not feature a multilingual service

Is smoking allowed on your coaches?

We do not permit smoking on board our coaches, but regular stops are made

Are your prices subject to change?

Gray Line wishes to point out to clients that on all tours the right is reserved to alter fares, arrange alternative transport, tour routes, services or accommodation.

Am I personally resposible for theft, loss and injury?

Gray Line shall not be held responsible for any property loss or damage and/or from any damages resulting in death or personal injury that may arise whilst on tour or when utilising any other service provided by Gray Line agents.

Clients are reminded that optional activities such as horse riding, flightseeing, boating and forest walks always have an element of risk and clients should note the above clause.

Gray Line shall not be held responsible for any loss, injury or damage resulting in any activities beyond its control such as fire, machinery breakdown, civil disturbances, theft or any delays or itinerary changes that may include additional expense that have been brought about by circumstances beyond the company's control

Can I get refunded if I don't use my ticket?

Refunds cannot be made for unused tour portions.

Cancellation fee may apply when other operators are involved.
